Voltaren Emulgel is used to treat inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints due to trauma (eg. sports injuries, sprains and strains), soft tissue rheumatism and localised rheumatic conditions, eg. bursitis, and for aches and pains, back, neck, and shoulder pain.
Diclofenac diethylammonium 23.2 mg/g.
Rub gently into the affected area 3 or 4 times daily. Do not use for more than 2 weeks unless under medical advice.
Do not use: on children under 12 years, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have an allergy to diclofenac, aspirin or any other NSAID. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have:asthma that you know is aggravated by the use of analgesics; ulcers, bleeding or any other serious disorder of the stomach or bowel; severe kidney disease or you are taking any other medicines.

Tell your doctor if you’ve had heart surgery, stroke, or high blood pressure after taking NSAIDs such as Voltaren Osteo Gel.
While using Voltaren Osteo Gel, if you have high blood pressure, have heart disease, or notice any other serious side effects, seek medical attention immediately.
The most common side effects of taking Voltaren Osteo Gel are nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, headache, flushing, and nasal congestion. These side effects are usually mild and temporary.Do not use Voltaren Osteo Gel if you’ve had a heart attack, bypass surgery, or a stroke without your doctor’s approvalDo not use Voltaren Osteo Gel if you’ve had a liver transplant, have bleeding problems, have kidney disease, or have a rare inherited eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa.
There is no evidence that Voltaren Osteo Gel will cause increased vaginal discharge, or menstrual cramps. It may reduce the risk of vaginal dryness and pain.
Voltaren Osteo Gel may cause mild to moderate pain in the following 3 ways:Low back pain: You should not use Voltaren Osteo Gel if you have low back pain of any kind. The most common side effects are abdominal pain, back pain, headache, muscle pain, nausea, headache, and flushing. However, the most common side effects of topless yoga, cold packs, sleeping pills, and herbal supplements are back pain, headache, and flushing.
High blood pressure: If you have high blood pressure, have high blood pressure with other risk factors, such as a family history of high blood pressure, or if you’re taking medication to treat high blood pressure. The most common side effects are dizziness, loss of appetite, weight gain, and pain in the back, stomach, and pelvic area.
Muscle pain: If you have muscle pain, there may be a chance that Voltaren Osteo Gel will slow down your body’s function in response to low muscle activity. The most common side effects are back pain, weakness, and tiredness.
Muscle pain can be a sign of a serious condition, including a back or neck pain, a stroke, a back or shoulder pain, and an irregular heartbeat. If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop using topless yoga, cold packs, sleeping pills, and herbal supplements and seek medical attention:
